Our DNA
Every family springs up out of the DNA of it's heritage. The Church is the body of Christ, therefore we share the DNA of Jesus and our faith, perspectives and values come from Father God.
Good news:
We carry the message of the Good News. Salvation is the most valuable message of all time…freedom for prisoners, sight for blind, deliverance for bound, healing for the bruised and blessings for the poor. No person needs to stay in the broken state that they find themselves. Heaven has come to invade earth! Because we have an assurance of victory in life we are those who walk with hope, impart hope, and have indwelling joy.
The Gift of Righteousness:
The gift of righteousness, through faith, is singly the most important doctrine in the Bible. God gives us the righteousness of Jesus so we can reign over Satan and the curse and become partakers of the promises of God and the divine nature.
Restoration:
Much of society is broken and in need of restoration. Beyond bringing people to salvation this is our mandate, that God would have a restored people. If we stop our ministry at spiritual salvation we have done a disservice. God wants to get believers back to Eden and through them restore culture and society.
Deliverance:
Everyone has the potential to be influenced by demon spirits. People can't get fully "restored" until they have learned to exercise their authority over Satan . All advancement comes through the principle of displacement.
Prayer:
Prayer is the foundation for everything that happens with God…every breakthrough and all wisdom. In addition, worship is the footing for the prayer foundation. We encourage the church body to spend at least one hour in the presence of God each day. Then also we feel it important, to combine with prayer, periodic times of fasting. Fasting is like the nuclear bomb of the spirit realm. We look for people to cultivate a passion and discipline for worship, prayer and fasting.
Ministry:
We believe that the ministry actually belongs to the body of Christ, not select paid clergy. We believe that apostolic-pastors are primarily called to prepare God's people for ministry. We encourage every believer to walk out their high calling.
Ephesians 4: 11-13: "It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son..."
Tithing and Prosperity:
We believe that abundant provision is a result of our partnership (covenant) with God. Prosperity is not something we seek, but is rather a result of seeking God's righteousness, walking in His wisdom and giving a tithe of all income to God as a first fruit. Godly prosperity is meant to bless the believer and empower them for giving into Kingdom purpose.
Deuteronomy 8:18: "But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today."
Proverbs 3:9: "Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine."
Gathering the nations:
God is restoring people from every nationality. We live in a very diverse region made up of many nationalities. This is something we embrace intentionally in our leadership, our friendships, our music and church style.
Supernatural power:
We don't believe that Jesus was uniquely a one of a kind. Though He was unique, He was the first of many. Therefore we believe that we are able to do exactly the same works He did in the earth. This possibility must be seized and cultivated. Walking in the power of God is a conquest of the believer.
Romans 8:29-30: "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren; and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified."
Progressive Dominion of Jesus:
We believe that Jesus is now ruling and reigning from the heavenly Jerusalem and that we are now given dominion to rule and reign with Him over darkness. We aren't waiting for some time in the future for His dominion, though at the same time we know the dominion of Jesus is being progressively manifested in a greater and greater dimension. In Him we rule over Satan and spiritual powers in Christ, we rule over our selves and we serve and love people in the marketplace.
Galatians 4:25: "Now this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children. 26 But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother."
Isaiah 9:7: "There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this."
Influencing culture:
We believe that we are called to influence the spheres of culture with the salt and light of Christ. I.E., Government, Religion, Education, Entertainment, Business, etc. We don't believe that only "pastors" or "five fold" ministers are the only "important" ones called to bring transformational influence in society. Every person is called to bring the goodness of God into their sphere of calling and purpose.
Prophetic:
We believe that the prophetic realm is real and essential, a relevant aspect of ministry for today and an important aspect of confirming the leading of the Lord. Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus (His insight, word, option and desire). Revelation 19:10
Warfare:
We believe that people are in a spiritual battle with demonic powers…a battle over the curse, a battle for souls and for the control of the earth. Therefore, an aggressive stance is beneficial and brings blessed results. We, as the body of Christ, are deputies of His power and victory over Satan. We triumph in "His Name."
Ephesians 6:11-12: "Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
Education:
We value education and believe it is a foundation to leading culture. We inspire all Christians toward furthering their education. Like Daniel believers should be educated in the language of the culture and universities of the day.
Taking the Gospel Out:
Jesus came to restore the down and out, broken, hurt, discouraged, bound and in debt. We intentionally develop people who join us in outreach…by serving, by praying, by giving and by encouraging. Our current ministries of RecoverLife, Food Bank, Food Co-op, Clothing Bank, Apartment Reach and Motel Reach are just the first fruits of loving the poor, the orphan, the widow and the prisoner.
Increasing victory:
We are not expecting the earth to become more unrighteous and apostate. This can result in hopelessness. We are living in an expectation for the progressive growth of the Kingdom of God. We believe there will be minor tribulations as God subdues the enemies of Jesus and places them under His feet.
Relational Connect:
We believe our ministry is as powerful as the loving relational connect. We believe that beyond preaching and teaching well, a minister needs to be able to inspire through relationships.
Youth and young adults:
Many young people are the product of a godless society. They are broken, abandoned and in need of love and restoration. We are God's hand in restoring them. We are looking for people to join us.
